Dr. Reza Shah-Hosseini has been working as an assistant professor in the School of Surveying and Geospatial Engineering, College of Engineering, the University of Tehran since 2016. He received his BS degree in Surveying and Geomatics Engineering, and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in Remote Sensing Engineering from the School of Surveying and Geospatial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, in 2007, 2010, and 2016, respectively. He is the internal director of the Earth Observation and Geomatics Engineering Journal and guest editor of the Remote Sensing Journal. His current research interests are in the area of Agricultural Remote Sensing, Image Classification, Change Detection, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Hazard Monitoring, Soil Moisture Estimation, Radiometric and Geometric Calibration of Remote Sensing Satellite Sensors, Anomaly Detection, Optical, and SAR Image Processing.
