University of Tehran Ranked second national university, according to Google Scholar.

According to the latest ranking based on citations in Google Scholar, released in July, 2024, among 121 Iranian institutions, University of Tehran stood second after Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Meanwhile, it ranked 398th globally among 6000 institutions.
