Prof. Ahmdu Keita, Minister of Science, Republic of Mali, along with a high ranking delegation visited College of Engineering

Prof. Keita and his accompanying delegation first attended School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and met with Dr. Nili, dean of the school; Mr. Eskandari, General Director of International Relation of UT; Dr. Mokmeli Associate Dean for International Relations of College of Engineering; and some of the professors and officials of the school. At this meeting after introducing the capabilities and achievements of the school, due to the interest of the guests, Dr. Nili explained more about AI. Then some of the professors of this field also added complementary points. The two parties also talked about mutual cooperation. Later on the visited the National Laboratory of Brain Mapping.

The delegation then met with Dr. Abrinia, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and his colleagues. At this meeting too, after Dr. Abrinial’s introduction of the school, they talked about student exchange, and research and educational cooperation. After the meeting thy visited some of the unique laboratories of the school, including CAST (humanoid robot), Ghazal (Sollar car), etc.
